Avery & Ollie Save The Universe
This comic was submitted and done for the International Comic/Manga School Contest, calling for work on the theme of "Admiration". I admire kids as they are extremely special. Their imagination and enthusiasm is infectious, and unabashed by what we all experience one way or another growing up. The decision to write about my niece and nephew Avery and Oliver was easy, as they are the epitome of courage and heroism.

Preliminary Work
The story revolves around Avery and Oliver and their imaginary friends becoming real. Sitting down with them and asking them "Who can you imagine going on a journey with?" resulted in the following characters.

My Interpretation
The Globyans
Instead of simply making "Globy", for story purposes the "Globyans" were born. In this story, the titular heroes must stop this alien race of their imagining.
King Globyan
King Globyan is a character of my imagining based off of the kids' ideas.

With the spaceship the question was: "How can you make a spaceship that looks like it cane from a kid's imagination while making it look real and dimensional?"
